So tonight I finally beat the infamous Silent Hill 2!To start with, this game feels kind of lacking in the beginning. If it wasn't the knowledge of how great this game is then I wouldn't have finished it through to the end.
It took me a while to understand what was going on but the game fills in all the plot holes nicely. I understood everyones reason for being at Silent Hill.
The ending on the other hand felt a little unsatisfying, it felt like it just ended. I was slightly disappointed at the ending.
However, the atmosphere of Silent Hill itself was just outstanding! I will play more of this series simply in hopes of the atmosphere being as creepy and bone chilling as it was in this game.
I'm looking forward to playing Silent Hill 3 very soon.
But all in all, this game doesn't feel like it would have any replay value. But it is a must play!
So unless you really enjoy being scared then buy it. But if you just want a one time exciting experience then I suggest you rent it.
