CT3 follows a 14 yr old named Alyssa who is a Rooder, which by what I've seen is like a ghost hunter/ ghost whisperer. She solves the mysteries of the undead so that the troubled souls may have peace in the after life.
The game excels at the "jump out scare" tactic. Half way through the game I was jumping out of my seat from the "Hammer Bro" and eventually I was jumping from "Acid Man". These two scared me more than anyone else. Maybe I just got used to what the game was doing to me, because I wasn't as scared later on. With the exception of "Axe Man" he scared me good at least once.
But the game is very fun, its easy to follow, which unfortunately makes it short. The only thing that got on my nerve's was the techno music that I had to listen to at several points during the game. Plus an annoying organ soundtrack that seemed to just loop around the same 10 second interval.
However, if you look past the few things I had to beef about, you will enjoy it. It's a thrill to play and it gives you plenty of history tidbits to make you fear your bosses even more.
8/10
