I recently came across a very promising band on youtube, and I plan on giving them plenty of praises. I love their sound, it's very punk and very light to listen to. I completely enjoy this band, check them out. I'm gonna go resume scaring the poop out of myself on Dead Space 2.

Dead Space 2

Initial Thoughts

This game is SCARY! I' m only on chapter 5, but this game is terrifying and extremely difficult. For me at least, maybe it's just cause I have horrible aim and can't turn a corner fast enough, but this game is hard.
Check this, you know how in the first one, you start out with no weapons and run away from the necromorphs? Well this one, you start out in a straight-jacket and have to run from them. Needless to say, I died a freakin lot at the beginning of the game.
I honestly enjoy how Isac is more narriative in this game than the last one. Last game, he was the quiet protagonist, this game he's more of a person and you feel more drawn in to the experience. I absolutely love it, the controls are the same, the mechanics are the same, it's perfect, it doesn't feel too different from the first one, but more evolved. There are a couple new features added, such as vent crawling, and spearing necromorphs with picking up spears and throwing them. Also the stomping and punching function feels way more satisfying.
The game is intense, and tons of fun. I can't wait to see the ending to this game.

Kinect Thoughts

My thoughts on the Xbox360 Kinect, can be summed up in one word "impressive". I love the concept of not using any controllers and being fully immersed in the game. I looked at the Wii with the same eyes, admittedly i thought it looked rather silly at first but the Wii grew on me.
The Kinect on the other hand, had me impressed from day one. So many ideas for games came rushing through my head, but one idea in particular had me the most excited!
Sit down for this one and wrap your head around the idea of..... a Dragon Ball Z Game!

If you were EVER a fan of the show and simply bought the games to get yourself more into the series by actually playing as the characters then you probably thought of this idea as well. I mean, hell, my favorite DBZ game is Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 on the Wii because I get to actually do the motion of a kamehameha and a spirit bomb!
I truly believe that if a creative team gets behind the Kinect with the DBZ franchise, we could be seeing a most excellent game that will decimate all fighting games out there!

DC Universe Life Consuming?

Yes, needless to say I've lost my life to DC Universe. This game is extremely addictive to a die hard batman fan, or a die hard any hero fan! I feel it's especially generous to the batman fans though, with Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy.
I have gone into so much excitement in my character creation that I honestly get so into it that I feel like I actually AM "The Red Knight".
Also, probably the best part about getting this game early is that my character could have an actual name and I wasn't stuck to TheRedKnight8 or something.
Anyways, rumor has it that this game is cross platform, PS3/ PC. If this is true then all of my PC going friends who play WOW and other MMOs are gonna need to get this game as well, cause it's just that much fun! I'll be doing a full review for this game in the near future.

DC Universe Online PS3

This is very definition of excitement for me! Other than looking forward to the upcoming Batman Arkham City! I just put my money down for the collectors edition which comes with the batman bust and it definitely hurt my pocket with all the apartment issues still not being settled (personal life issues).
On top of that, my camera is completely busted, or at least I hope it's not. I'm really hoping it's just the cable to connect it to the computer, but screw it!
I'm excited for the collectors edition, I wish I could show an unboxing when it comes out! I wish I could be the first to show it! But unfortunately I can't, so here's a toast to looking forward to this game coming into my life so i can play alongside batman!

NAWK Comic #2

This comic didn't get a lot of praise on subtle humor, so consider this one fail on my part. If you think it's funny, then you are officially my best friend!

NAWK Comic #1

Here it is, the first issue of the NAWK Comic series, "Social Skills" introduces two new characters to the series, and a potential love interest for Alex.

New Years Resolution

So, I have officially taken it upon myself to put for of an effort into the NAWK comics, and NAWK toons.
I'm also taking more of an initiative into becoming a youtube man. I'm uploading videos of my lame life and what not to try and break that barrier so you guys can't to know us, well me mostly since I'm the only one making the videos.
Anyways, I'll be uploading the comics onto this news feed and they will all be conviniently stored on the comics page.
Also, the videos will be uploaded here for people to view as well as stored on the Jolly Bandit Productions.
I will be uploading them to the youtube account jbanditproductions so if you guys wanna follow me and subscribe.
