Where have we been?

I have been working on the NAWK Toons Reviews and other animations. Kevin is gathering himself to start broadcasting again. But NAWK Channel has been kind of lost for a while, we keep trying to save the channel but I'm busy with a full time job, school and animating for several projects. But maybe I'll show up on the channel again.

The Dealio!

So since Kevo doesn't seem to want to broadcast, I Alex the loan survivor will be broadcasting as often as I can, while working on the video reviews and other projects for our possible upcoming site. Yes, while we have been absent from the broadcasting table we have been coming up with ideas for the NAWK crew. We have been working hard and thoughts on our webpage will consist of a ton of information on classic games and new games that people want to know. We personally have been tired of looking for information on classic games and receiving only little bits of it. Hence our big project. It will also host Dawns Light and NAWK Toons. So keep an eye out for that!

Resident Evil Nawkathon 2

The current status for Resident Evil is getting to the point of readiness. I'm missing three games before launching the event. Unless I don't make it before the release of Darkside Chronicles. The list is extremely epic and I'm planning on launching it when Kevin comes down so we can both double team the event. If not then I'm gonna be stuck on my own but I'm gonna take a couple days off to do this so it should be a continuous run.

Nawkathon Failure

So the Zelda Nawkathon was a failure... The entire cast of NAWK wasnt up for the challenge. While Kevin Neal and Alex were ready to rock and role, scheduling conflicts arose for Adam and Will. So for any future Nawkathons we are gonna guarantee a schedule and the participants will be ready to go. Alex is still working on the Resident Evil Nawkathon 2 which will consist of more resident evil games to the library. Possibly Dead Aim and the Survivors will be added.
Also, Alex has been working on multiple animation projects. A NAWK Toon Review, Episode 2 of Dawns Light and the first NAWK Toon episode.
Neal and Alex have also been talking over opening a site dedicated to the work of NAWK and the rest of the crew. Tune in for more details.

Zelda Nawkathon Details

Looks like the current line up is such.

Neal will be playing Ocarina of Time
Alex will be playing A Link to the Past & Zelda 2 Links Adventure
Adam will be playing the original Zelda along with Wind Waker
Will shall be playing Majoras Mask
Kevin will be playing Twilight Princess and 4 Swords

This may change before the marathon, the names were simply drawn out of a hat so it was completely random. However Will and Neal are only playing 1 game due to Neal not really wanting to play more than one and Will was unfortunate enough to get Majoras Mask so we decided to not add another one to his roster.

The games will be played in order of release so Adam will be the first one playing his game.

The Nawkathon will only have an end date being when all the games are completed. So once the Nawkathon begins, it will not end until Twilight Princess is completed.

Also another Nawkathon that has been proposed is Resident Evil Nawkathon Round 2. People have really wanted it to be done again and once Alex gets Resident Evil 5 the new marathon will begin shortly afterwards. It will more than likely be done in the same fashion as the Zelda marathon, depending on how successful it is.

We will also announce the exact date and time when Rencamo and Alex will face off again in another race! This time with the space horror, Dead Space! This race will take place between the two marathons.

Current Standings on Zelda Games

We currently have the following Zelda Games for our marathon.
The Legend of Zelda NES
The Legend of Zelda 2 NES
A Link To The Past SNES
Ocarina of Time N64
Wind Waker GC
Twilight Princess Wii

Still need to obtain:
Majoras Mask N64
4 Swords Adventures GC

One the last two games are obtained the marathon will begin. So with any luck everything will be bought in time for the marathon, if not then it might be delayed a lil longer. Plus we need to wait for the NAWK members to get in town for the summer.
We will be holding a meeting and plan out the dates for all of our Summer projects, including discussing the plans for a live action movie. Along with the "NAWK the toon" series that will be put together, it will include reviews and episodes.
Dawns Light will be put on hold for a while in the meantime.

The Zelda Nawkathon!

So, this summer the blog should be back up and running. We will be putting up posts on upcoming events and the details of the events. But we have decided to kick off the summer with a Zelda Nawkathon.
Which will consist of all the console Zelda games, we still haven't decided whether to play just Ocarina of Time or to also play Master Quest. But all the NAWK members will be participating in the event. It will go until all the games are completed. We will draw to see who plays what game.
We will also change the banner regularly when a different Zelda game is being played.
So look forward to the upcoming Nawkathon, also Alex will be performing another video game race with Rencamo on the horror game, Dead Space after the Nawkathon is completed.
